VISION
Equitable access to artistic excellence: cultivating confidence, ambition, and belonging since 2012.
A universal right, not a privilege.
We envision a world where music education and meaningful cultural experiences are accessible to every young person, regardless of family income or circumstance.
Since 2012, We've Got Rhythm has worked to connect young people from under-resourced communities with opportunities that might otherwise remain out of reach, from free instruments and complimentary access to world-class performances to direct engagement with the artists who inspire them.
Backstage Access
After the final ovation, #RhythmSupport creates opportunities for students to go beyond the audience and meet accomplished artists backstage.
These encounters can make extraordinary achievement feel more immediate and human, helping young people see that concert halls, stages, and artistic communities are spaces in which they can belong.
Exposure to Excellence
Witnessing virtuoso performers in historic venues such as Carnegie Hall can expand a young person's understanding of what discipline, preparation, and dedication can achieve.
Personal Connections
Meeting artists face-to-face helps demystify the craft. The performer onstage becomes a real person with a story, a process, and a path of their own, making excellence feel less distant and possibility more tangible.
Lifelong Impact
For most of our students, this is their very first live concert hall experience. That electric first encounter ignites disciplined practice and lifelong creative confidence.
