PROGRAMS

We've Got Rhythm bridges the gap, one instrument and one ticket at a time.

Donated instruments ready to find new musical homes through the BEATS program
PHASE I: ACCESS

BEATS

For many young people, access to music education begins with a simple question: Do they have an instrument of their own?

For families already balancing essential expenses, the cost of a violin, cello, guitar, keyboard, or other instrument can become an absolute barrier to participation. Without one at home, practice is limited, progress slows, and a young person may never get the chance to discover how far their interest or ability could take them.

Through BEATS, we work with families, schools, and community partners to place instruments directly into the hands of young people who need them.

Owning an instrument changes the relationship with music. It gives a student the freedom to practice on their own time, build confidence through repetition, and begin to see music not as something they visit in a classroom, but as something that belongs to them.

PHASE II: CONNECTION

The Community Gateway

Access works best when it begins with trust.

Schools, families, and community organizations help us understand where barriers exist and where an opportunity can make the greatest difference. These relationships allow WGR to reach young people where they already learn and grow, connect them with the right resources, and extend opportunities beyond what may be available through school or family resources alone.

The goal is not simply to offer a program. It is to create a reliable point of entry into experiences, resources, and relationships that might otherwise remain out of reach.

PHASE III: POSSIBILITY

#RhythmSupport

A world-class performance should not feel like a world away.

Through #RhythmSupport, we provide young people with complimentary concert access, include parents and guardians when possible, help with transportation when needed, and create opportunities to meet performing artists backstage.

The experience is about more than attending a concert. Seeing extraordinary musicians perform up close, entering renowned cultural spaces, and speaking directly with artists can make excellence feel more human, more accessible, and more imaginable.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Three pillars of access for the developing artist.
